My Profound Thoughts

Simple yet subtle.. Profoundly silly yet thought-provoking.. Sums up life..

Some Springtime Thoughts

I love the Spring season more than any other ones, but having said that, each has its charm, whether Winter, Spring, Summer or Falls. I indeed admire the essence of nature in its glory, with new blossoms and its vibrance that revive life in itself.

The fields of blooming Rapeseed flowers, near where I live, are among the many magnificent gifts of this time. Every time we pass by them, I try to stop by and stay there for a while, to enjoy the beauty of the flowers swaying with the breeze. A sight that reminds me of the mustards fields in the Bollywood movie, Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge.

“A scene worth capturing,” I said, and we absorbed the beauty around us.

As we drove off from there, I felt a rush of joy and positivity filling me deep within. It is my day off after three long days at work; I was a bit tired when I woke up this morning after six and half hours of sleep. But now that I feel better, I realise that nature is just the best refreshment, as well as the best detox for our sanity.

Isn’t it amazing that we are created not only for a purpose but also to live a life that allows us to enjoy the beauty surrounding us?

About Me

I am Chinchu Kuriakose aka Chinchu Gibu. I am a writer/ blogger with a vision of spreading positivity and good cheer to the world and a Clinical Research Nurse by profession, working in Cancer Research. The creative side of me adores nature, humanity, romance and emotions; while the professional side of me works on research protocols and evidence-based practice. When a feeling, a moment, a thought or a memory touches my heart, it flows as words. I do it with passion; I do it with love. Yes, it is my profound thoughts that I would like to think a bit louder, so I could share a piece of it with the outer world.
