My Profound Thoughts

“Isn’t our life a big bag full of surprises?” We live, we meet people, we do things completely oblivious about the purpose of why we do what we do. There is a story in and behind everything we do. When God decides to work on people in his ways, what/who can go against it?

That was back in January this year.

There was this friend of ours, Sobin Anto who asked me one day to translate a song from Malayalam (my mother tongue) to English. He didn’t say what it was for and I didn’t question. Few days later, he sends me the promo video of the very same song. I was amazed to see how much creativity it involves in giving the words some music and make it alive.

And I asked, “what if I write a few lines, and you compose it for me.” Just a usual playful conversation with friends, nothing serious than that. But he instantly agreed. Less did I know then, or let me put it this way that I was unaware of the fact that the great creator above has already sowed and watered the seeds of this beautiful song deep within my soul.

I am a lover of music, I love listening to melodious songs, and usually I go by it’s lyrics and how it makes me feel and that kind of stuff. But with this song, for the first time in life, I got to know every detail of it. I do realise now, it’s not just the words or the music, but the hard work of many. Hence, I appreciate every effort of people who are involved in this venture to make it happen.

“It is when the creator brings the right ingredients together, a creation happens.”

And five months down the line, here we are planning the release ..

.. and that’s how our song is born..
