Dear January


I was expecting a bit more light, a bit less cold and most of all a wonderful start to another year. Not that I am surprised by what I see, it’s just that you haven’t lived up to my expectations. But what I must say is I haven’t given up on you yet, even though the cold spells are dragging us along to freezing temperatures once again. I do enjoy bearing a little misery and hardship for the better yet to come. So please don’t forget that here I stay patiently waiting for the better yet to come.
