It was my choice to have our table facing the garden because nature inspires me. And as a writer, I tend to absorb all the positivity and motivation that surrounds me. As much as an inspiration, it can become a distraction too.

Now, see the blackbird sitting on my neighbour’s fence. She looks quite lonesome.

And, the pigeon on the rooftop, what about her?
“Why on earth is everyone on their own?” I thought.
Thinking of which today I am home alone too, and that doesn’t mean I am desolate. It’s just that my other half is at work. What we perceive from what we see may not always be the truth. It could be a half-truth or there is no element of it at all.
Now let’s go back to the birdies. What if the blackbird is waiting for a friend to join her? And the pigeon stopped by on her way home? It’s just that there are a million reasons and ways for things to happen around us, and we only manage to catch a glimpse of it, and that too when we pay a little attention.
We are a bit too quick in judging people, no matter if we know their story or not. And 9 out of 10 times it’s merely for the sake of it rather than concern for the other. Sometimes we have to smoothen those sharp edges of our judgemental instincts. We only need to take in the view and soak in its beauty.
Much Love ❤️ God bless
