My Profound Thoughts

Simple yet subtle.. Profoundly silly yet thought-provoking.. Sums up life..

…and who is she??

She is not a superwoman, but she sees, feels and listens,

Things that happen in your life, whether told or untold.

Be it your trembling voice, or your pounding heart,

She needs no words or gestures, but she understands.

I am more than amazed by this well-known fact,

That nothing goes unnoticed under her watch.

Not even your eyeliner-smudged eyes, as simple as that.

And no one could beat this skill of hers; it’s an unwritten pact.

She can be your strength, but you’ll always be her weakness.

She gave up her dreams, so she could teach you to build yours.

Indeed no one could replace her, and there is no other.

She is one unique creation, and that’s your mother.

Much love ❤️ God bless

P.S. My mother is my motivation as always —this evening, I was talking to her, and she asked me why it was dark under my eyes. And I said it’s because I rubbed my eyes and had eyeliner on. And she asked again, but why is it smudged? And I said, hold on a moment and left to wash my face. Then I asked her, so how is it now, and she said yes, that’s better. I adore the way she takes care of every detail of our lives. Once again, she touched that softest spot somewhere deep within my heart. ❤️ Indeed, mothers are unique creatures..😍

About Me

I am Chinchu Kuriakose aka Chinchu Gibu. I am a writer/ blogger with a vision of spreading positivity and good cheer to the world and a Clinical Research Nurse by profession, working in Cancer Research. The creative side of me adores nature, humanity, romance and emotions; while the professional side of me works on research protocols and evidence-based practice. When a feeling, a moment, a thought or a memory touches my heart, it flows as words. I do it with passion; I do it with love. Yes, it is my profound thoughts that I would like to think a bit louder, so I could share a piece of it with the outer world.
