What a beautiful morning, definitely not in terms of weather but everything else. I rose from bed with a motivated mindset to walk a little before starting today—a long-forgotten habit. It’s been a year or two now, or maybe since I started my Monday-to-Friday routine, that I lost my motivation and energy to keep fit.
Surprisingly these days, I experience an energy boost; I guess it’s the result of connecting with nature, our natural healer. These days I spend a lot of time in the garden, communicating with plants literally and metaphorically.
After a 20-minute walk on the treadmill, I grabbed my teacup and stepped out to the garden for fresh air. I could hear the garbage truck outside. ‘Oh no, I forgot to put the garden bin out,’ I thought. I ran to open the garden door, but by that time, the driver already drove past. But the person taking the bin to the truck was walking behind; he said not to worry, leave it outside, and they’ll collect it on the way back.
And a few moments later, the truck pulled in for my bin. The person should have left the garden bin on the path and gone, but he brought it up and said, ‘Have a nice day’ before he left. ‘You too as well,’ I shouted, smiling, as I returned with my bin and placed it in position and sat down to finish the rest of my tea.
I expected at least advice to keep the bin outside on time or a warning, but they were pleasant. It was my fault; I will remember next time to keep it out on time. It’s only a quarter to eight; I have a whole day ahead, and the same for you. So here we go for the rest of the beautiful day. You all have a lovely day, folks.
Much love, God bless
