The weather’s been chilly, and I kept rubbing my palms together for heat. I shifted from my place on the bench and snuggled closer to my hubby for warmth. As he wrapped his arm around me, I found my comfort place resting my head on his shoulder, closer to his heart. His heartbeats play a rhythm that tells me difficult-to-decipher stories. I couldn’t help but smile thinking of my interpretations of everything I saw and heard. The campfire flames glow in their glory, dancing with the gentle music from the breeze. I slowly drifted off to sleep. A loud noise woke me up from my deep slumber. It was my first alarm to wake up for work after my New Year holidays. As I slowly slipped out of my bed fifteen minutes later, I wished I had stayed in that beautiful dream forever.
Much love ❤️ God bless
